Private Walking Tour of Capri
A Full day experience with your Tour Guide, starting from Positano!
Are you staying in Positano? Want to go on a Full-Day experience in Capri with a guide leading the way? Come with me!
Discover the enchanting allure of Capri, the legendary island of the Bay of Naples, on a private walking tour. After reaching Capri port, we could take one of the characteristic open-top taxis of the island or the Funicolare to reach the top part of Capri. An experience not to be missed!
This will be the start of a fascinating journey, from Capri's ancient Roman heritage to its status as a playground for the elite. Along the way, I’ll reveal the secrets of the island's timeless beauty, vibrant culture, and hidden gems.
Begin at the famous Piazzetta, the lively heart of Capri, where cafés and boutiques create an atmosphere of sophistication.
Wander through Via Camerelle, the island’s most exclusive shopping lane, leading to the breathtaking Belvedere overlooking the iconic Faraglioni rock formations.
Explore the Gardens of Augustus, offering panoramic views of the sea and the rugged coastline. (The gardens require an entrance ticket)
After a short ride in a local taxi, visit Anacapri, the town in the upper part of the island. There we could admire Villa San Michele, the former home of Swedish physician Axel Munthe, and the historic Church of San Michele, renowned for its stunning maiolica-tiled floor.
Also Optional in Anacapri: Take the chairlift to Mount Solaro for a bird’s-eye view of the island (tickets to buy on-site. More info here).
Private Experience: Tailored exclusively for you and your group (max. 5 people).
Expert Guidance: Led by a licensed, English-speaking guide for a personalized and immersive experience.
All Ferry, taxi fares and Funicolare tickets are to be paid directly on-site. In the summer months, purchasing ferry tickets in advance is recommended. Ferries from Positano to Capri might be cancelled according to sea conditions. In this case there will be no penalty fee for the guide service.
Entrance fees for Villa San Michele, the chairlift, the Gardens of Augustus and other attractions are not included and can be purchased on-site.
Free time for lunch.
The tour involves stairs, uneven paths, and optional uphill walks, which are not suitable for wheelchairs.
